Christmas.

Some say it's a season that welcome new beginnings. 

Where you meet new people,

and make new memories.

When you look a little closer,

its also a season to say good bye.

To all the things you've held on to far too long.

To all the guilt you've kept inside.

Leave it behind,

cast it aside

& let this be the last card you send,

& the last gift you give.

& last time you look back.

Chance

It's impossible to describe the feeling that floods all over you sometimes.

Your heart skips a beat,

& you never fall asleep.

Every day,

every minute,

every second,

we invest.

We invest in people.

In people who matter.

Some who makes it worthwhile doing so.

Others who doesn't even see it. 

They say the bigger your investment,

the bigger your return.

They don't actually tell you,

that you could lose it all.

But if you take that chance,
it's like what they say,
if you invest wisely,
"The greatest gift is to love,
the payoff might just surprise you.
& be loved in return. 

Rain

It's never easy to speak from your heart;

To tell someone how you feel.

Words that could mean the world to someone,

may often never be heard.

Not because of deadlines,

not because of pride.

Not because of expectations,

not because of disappointments.

But because its hard to trust someone enough,

to leave your feelings with them.

So we say hello,

when what we really want to say is that "I wish you were here"

We say good night,

because you were all I think about.

& we have say goodbye,

because it's never easy to speak from your heart. 

Say it.

We paint out pictures in our head all the time.

What can be..

what may be..

what could have been.

We wait for tomorrow that never come.

& we promise forever, that never will be.

That's why moments matter.

Moments that takes your breath away.

Memories that hold true.

Words, that used to be. 

Even when people move forward,

they leave foot steps behind.

It really doesn't take a lot to forget,

but it means everything to remember.

So what will you choose?

Good Night

When we lose someone,

we go into denial.

Because we can't imagine its true.

We become angry with everyone.

& most of all,

with ourselves.

Sometimes we give up everything we have,

in exchange for just one day to make it right.

Sometimes we fall into depression, despair.

Until finally we have to accept that we've done everything we can,

we let go.

We let go and move into acceptance.

In school we have a hundred classes that teach us to move forward.

and not one lesson on how to start living.
 

Now or Never

We spend most of our time waiting for things to happen.

Waiting to be happy,

waiting to be found. 

But at some point you start to realize that your life

is happening now.

Not after graduation.

Not after your first pay cheque.

Right now.

Right this moment.

This is it.

Blink, and you'll miss it.

So did you say it yet?

That you matter.

That you changed my life. 

That I love you.

Make a plan

Set a goal.

Work towards it.

But every now and then.

Look around.

Drink it in.

Cause this is it.

It might all be gone tomorrow.

Fear

Once in a while,

We remind ourselves.
If my time was almost up,
That we do not have forever.
I'd be writing long letters to you,
That we lose our yesterdays,
just so they'll be there when I'm not.
& we may not have tomorrow.

What's important to you, really?

Weddings.

You never know the biggest day of your life

 is gonna be the biggest.

The days you think,

are going to be big ones,

are never as big as you make them out to be in your head.

Its the regular days,

the ones you spend,

with people who are significant

those are the days that end up being the biggest.

The day you get your heart broken.

The day you meet your soul mate.

The day you commit to something,

to somebody.

We don't recognize the biggest days of our lives.

Not even when we're right in the middle of it.

Days you wish last for ever,

those are the biggest days.

The perfect days.

Escape

Imagine if you could travel back in time,

and live your life again;

Are there more you wish to undone,

Or... are there more you wish you did.

Like words you wish you said..

going for the trip that never happened.

Or going for the kiss,

you only dream about.

We all make mistakes.

& we rarely forgive ourselves about it.

For some, it takes a lot to apologize.

& often "I'm sorry" doesn't always cut it.

Maybe because we use it in so many different ways.

As a weapon.

As an excuse.

& sometimes you don't know what it means at all.

What it means to make a mistake.

To have met you all over again.

Wallflower

Sometimes we sail through our day like it's just another. 

Other times, it takes our breath away.

I know

that in time,

pictures will become old photographs.

I know,

that moments will become stories.

& above all,

I know that,

it was beautiful.

So we still embrace our moments,

and celebrate our lives.

& even if it isn't perfect,

in time,

we get through it.

Words

Once in a while we put our feelings in a bottle.

Because its easier that way.

It's easier not to look back.

It's always easier to leave behind something,

than drag our feet along.

But sometimes you feel that

these feelings are too precious to put away.

So you struggle.

Because moments can be so beautiful,

yet so bitter.

Memories can be perfect,

but untrue.

& only in time we learn

that life happens.

That feelings never make sense.

And hearts,

move on.

Singing In the Rain

We meet people from all walks of life.

Some we hate.

A few who make our hearts flutter.

& so many we barely know.

sometimes, all together.

There're only a few things in life that truly matter.

As with there're only so few who lights us up.

Every second we spend not knowing,

every moment we choose otherwise,

is a second of our lives wasted.

It's a moment of our lives thrown away.

It's not like we've forever to spare.

So don't waste your seconds,

and don't throw even one of our moments away.

In the Midnight Hour

When you're little,

night time is scary

because there are monsters hiding under the bed.
 
When you get older,

the monsters are different.

Self doubt..

loneliness..

regret.

& though you may be older and wiser,

you still find yourself scared of the dark.

So you just close your eyes.

& hope you make it through.

But once we face our demons,

face our fears,

night time isn't so scary.

Cause life isn't meant to be.

Lose the battle, Win the War

We all have 7 days a week,

24 hours a day.

Yet we never spend enough time with people who matter.

We lose ourselves in the things we do.

And eventually work takes over our way of life.

We compare ourselves to others.

We judge.

& we try so hard to be better than everyone else. 

We make friends with people we don't like.

& say things that we don't mean.

Sometimes we forget that we have a choice.

That no one tells you about.

The one you have to learn yourself.

That its not about the race at all.

There are no winners or losers.

Victories are counted by the number of lives you touch.

And once in a while,

if you're lucky

you find meaning in your own.

Dive

Sometimes we forget about who we are.


With everything that's going on,

we put ourselves aside.

We put ourselves on hold.

We wait.

We wait for what may never come.

We all dream about it.

About having your own cafe..

about the girl you want to say hello.. 

about that perfect life ahead.

Sometimes all it takes is a step to make it happen.

 All it takes is for you to say yes.
